How to activate UAN?

To activate UAN, follow any one of the below approach,

APPROACH 1:

Step 1: Visit https://www.epfindia.gov.in/ 

Step 2: Select "Our Services" and click on "For Employees"

Step 3: Click on "Member UAN / Online Services"

Step 4: Click on "Activate your UAN" (located under "Important Links" on the right-hand side bottom)

Step 5: Enter your basic details like UAN, Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Captcha. Now click on "Get Authorization Pin"

OTP will be sent on the registered mobile

Step 6: Click on "I Agree" and enter the OTP

Step 7: Finally, click on "Validate OTP and Activate UAN"

APPROACH 2:

Step 1: Visit https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

Step 2: Click on "Activate your UAN" (located under "Important Links" on the right-hand side bottom)

Step 3: Enter your basic details like UAN, Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Captcha. Now click on "Get Authorization Pin"

OTP will be sent on the registered mobile

Step 4: Click on "I Agree" and enter the OTP

Step 5: Finally, click on "Validate OTP and Activate UAN"
